My name is Lucia Segura, and I am a smiling and loving being who always try to make people feel seen and inspired. I’m an illustrator currently based in South East London, and I was born in Barcelona (Spain), where I earned my degree in Fine Arts in 2014 by Barcelona’s University (UB).
I enjoy creating atmospheric illustrations and art full of colour, usually mixing realism and surreal elements that reminds of the inner world, in order to create dreamlike images. My work revolves around psychology, and it helps me to think about who I am and how I feel, and I hope it helps people to connect with their emotional side and make their sense of self-worth to thrive.
On my last works I’m working the shading in a minimal way, and I’m experimenting with backgrounds, drawing patterns or specific scenes, and doing lettering.
Spoken languages: English, Spanish and Catalan.
